The Lord loves and blesses us abundantly

I sure love you all!
I am really excited to talk about the things that have been happening this week. Its really interesting because we have SO many incredible people preparing to be baptized and receiving responses. And then because of this they began to have doubts because the Enemy was in a beyond panic because of these people and there righteous actions.
So this week we did lessons which are called "Saving the baptism" because I have learned that when we are about to do sdomething beyond amazing in following our savior which will save essentially Generations, opposition from all places starts to get in the way.
But Sister Maia and I decided this- there is nothing in the whole world that the inimigo (anti-amigo translated in portuguese) can do to stop us from being firm in the Gospel.
In essence we are 2 young women doing everything possible to be righteous, and Nothing can dissuade us from being happy because we know when things are tough its because we are doing whats right and the enemy is quite frankly nervous, and so this is what we did
we decided WE will be happy and positive regardless of what happens and wie will be firm in the faith because the enemy has already lost, because we know that because of what we are doing if Everything else fails we will continue strong, we will find righteous people in the future, marry in the temple for all time and eternity, have lots of kids, prepare them to serve missions, they will serve missions and bless lives of even More people and it will just continue on from there.

And so this is what we were doing sunday morning because the day started off with people that were REALLY firm all of a sudden having problems that prevented them from being in church.
But we decided we will do everything we possibly can and we know that miracles will happen.

Our huge plan, hope and desire was to have 10 people in church,

We were enormously blessed by the Lord and with help from members we had 14 people in church!!!!! What a marvelous miracle.
And we learned that Antonio although he wasnt in church he KNows the church is true and was acting in fear of the consequences that can be given by man for doing what is right and so we shared our testimonys and did everything we could to help him and he ended up feeling the spirit undeniably strong in his heart and so he Knows what is right to do and will just have to be brave.
Some of the scriptures I studied this week that I loved was about being faithful and firm in the faith of the Lord.
I was really happy to bring my scriptures with me to share these scriptures but forgot that they were in portuguese so I will just translate over the main ideas of them.
Isaiah 41:10- "Do not fear for I the Lord am with thee, I will comfort thee, because I am your God, I will strengthen you, and help you...."

I just loved this scripture so much. We do not need to fear in the face of trials because we know that our Lord will help us, strengthen us and that we will have the ability to conquer all things. Also when we know we are doing what is right the Lord will make everything possible.

Well I love you all and Im so grateful for your support and prayers.
Have a wonderful week!!!

Their righteous choices

So this week was good, I guess the things we have been learning this week is to just keep doing our best. Our mission president even sent letters to the mission (as he does every week) but this week it was about how we dont need to have a huge miraculous thing occur to be successful. That as long as we are doing good things every day that is where we will find the blessings. In small and simple things great things come to pass.
Some of the things Im enjoying as of late
*My growing ability to use many different scriptures in lessons as prompted by the spirit, because of my studying.
*The family of Aline, Robert, and Luan is bringing me continuous joy. They paid their tithing this past week (our recent converts) are doing family night every week, Luan is attending institute, Aline is implimenting prayer with her two young kids, and Robert received the priesthood in church.
*We are visiting less actives and trying to help them
* We were able to have 10 people come to church again!!!! 4 were teenagers which is really amazing honestly( although we havent officially taught them yet) and 3 children who want to be baptized but need to wait until their parents are also visiting church with them.
*Dilma has a really strong testimony but is waiting to be able to get married.
*Preparing Luan, Aline and Robert to visit the temple to do baptisms vicarious.
*My companion is a large blessing in my life, it really makes a difference having your best friend be your companion, its really nice because yesterday after having 10 people in church (which was definitely a miracle) but with thoughts racing millions of miles per second about who will visit with us, what we will do during the week, how we can help them and other things like that I started feeling a bit under the weather and we went to visit Dilma (because our baptism of Erik was postponed for this next saturday because we felt that it was the best thing for their family, but our leaders (elders) wanted him to be baptized on sunday) and so I was preoccupied with what we needed to do, because we both felt right about waiting until saturday when his dad could be their and things like that and it was the same conclusion that Dilma had and so we all felt like it was an answer to prayer. But our Elders of course wanted to help and were worried about all the possible difficulties this family will encounter this week with the adversary trying to prevent his baptism. And so there was just a lot of things going on in my mind about what we needed to do and as a side affect I was feeling a bit sick but as we sat on the steps (in the building) outside the door of Dilma waiting for her to answer the door my companion talked with my rubbing my back and to be completely honest I cant remember a word she said but I can remember how I felt. Having her support and encouragement literally lifted a weight from my mind and we got up and continued in our day and I felt a ton better and we were able to have the lessons we needed to have in order to follow up with our investigating friends and it just turned out really great. We had a really really neccesary and good lesson with Flavia who said that she felt and believed the church was true and commited to follow the word of wisdom and it was really really good.
We are definitely praying for her family.
But I was just really grateful that everything worked out really good :) Im very blessed because of it.
So we are definitely seeing wonderful things happening while strengthening good attributes such as humility and perserverance its really good Im really grateful for this opportunity to be strengthened in these things.
I love you all!!!!
Sincerely Sister Kimball

Praying to find families to teach and help

Dear my wonderful family!! I loved receiving the emails from mom and dad!!! I will be praying for sheridan to be protected from receiving more injuries but hopefully this means that they are all out of the way and she will be healthy during spring break (*need to be healthy to serve a mission!!) ;)
Also Sage's pictures are absolutely adorable I love her long hair, and spencer is getting so tall!! From what I can see in the pictures, how tall is he?? And I love hearing that Laramie is continuing singing she is so sweet, and Im excited for dad to be able to return to visit on the tenth of april. I love love april
SO!!! Our mission is focusing on families!! Baptizing families together so that in a year they can all enter the temple top be sealed. And so these have definitely been the most rewarding weeks of my mission because of this. Because I love you all and Im so grateful to have you all in my family for eternity :) And so I am so happy being able to help other people have this blessing in their lives.
So miracle beyond miracle these past two weeks because Aline and Luan were baptized (brother and sister) and then Robert this past saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooooooooooooo happy at the baptism of Robert I just was so filled with joy because they now can prepare to enter the temple and Luan is preparing to serve a mission!!! And aline and robert have 2 cute cuteee kids Luiz Miguel-3yrs old and Laura-7 months old and Aline every day is saying how Laura is preparing to be a missionary, oh I love it so much I can even explain.
ANDDDD we have been Praying for families
and we just had a beyond miracle occur.
So my companion and I started talking to 2 ladies around the ages of 25 and turns out they are cousins and THEY BOTH are married legally!!!!!!!!!! wahooooo!!! And one of them doesnt work on sundays!!! AND as we were talking the father of one of them walked up at it was Veronildo someone I had already talked to many times but never could find his house. and HE also is married legally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! miracles of all miracles!!!
This is just absolutely wonderful!! Because its superlyy expensive to get married legally and basically people start living together really young and then never marry actually its really a bummer. And so our zone and mission have been praying and fasting to find families married legally, and we found 3 in one contact!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on the street! wow wow wow.
And so we went to visit them and looked and looked and Looked for there houses and couldnt find them, (veronildo and flavia)
and then we decided to visit a less active that we had found on the list of less actives the night before because we had a list of 8 people in the same house so we picked the name Lidiane to write down and look for in house number 16 and so because numbers on the street are like 1,4,36,209,2, 35,2, another 4
and in that order we decided to knock on the closest number to 16 that we could find and it was 15
and we knocked and a lady when she saw us got really excited and called us in to sit down
we asked if she knew Lidiane and she said she was the
MOM of Lidiane,
the cousin of Flavia
AND the husband of Veronildo!!!!
TURNS out the Lidiane we were looking for was completely different and This was the Lidiane we had talked to on the street
and she had us sit down and then called flavia who miraculously was visiting at that same time
and we had a beyond incredible lesson, Flavia and her (Janaine) accepted invitations to pray about our message and then be baptized when they receive an answer
and they ALL came to church
Veronildo, Janaine, their son Guilhereme(17), son of Lidiane (because she was working) andddd Flavia and her son
it was beyond incredible, when we passed the night before and the morning of they were excited for church and they were already preparing for church when we passed and all arrived together in their car.
wow. It was amazing and turns out they know about 3 of our members and are Super good friends
and so having them in church was absolutely wonderful everyone was fgreeting them and happy to see them. It was wonderful.

And so theres been loads of miracles happening,
And we will be praying for them all
and Luan will visit with us to teach them tomorrow :)!! Wahoo!!!

Also I was very faithful and strong in ways of obedience this week. I was confronted with a difficult situation but the primary song came into my mind
"Do what is right, let the consequence follow." And so thats what I did, it was very difficult but I know what I did was right without doubts and I was able to be blessed with peace of conscience despit the outcomes.
I know that the Lord will always support us in our righteous decesions and its always better and will be forever blessing us when we choose to do what is right.
Follow the Spirit for he will always lead you to the path of happiness.
Especially when its hard, stand up for what is right. I am so grateful for my mission and the strength of character and dedication to do what is right that is continually building.

I Love you all so much and Im so excited to see you all again Im so grateful for my mission and the wonderful changes Ive been able to see in the lives of others and in myself.
I hope you all know I will forever be true to my testimony.
I know the Church is true with all my heart and soul.
Continue true to the faith :)
I love you all
sincerely sister Kimball

Miracles have happened!

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO
MIRACLESSSSSSSS happened this week!!
Honestly for me miracles have happened ever since Sister Maia became my companion, I dont know if I can even adequately explain how wonderful it is having her as a companion. But anyways things have just gone really wonderfully.
Here is basically what happened.
Luan prayed to know if the church is true and specifically to know if he should get baptized ANDDDDDDDDD had that wonderful dream, or vision, really I believe more of a vision because of the faith he has.
But anyways in the dream he was summoned into a river to be baptized.
And ever since that dream he has been firmer than any member Ive ever seen.
And the miracle on top of that is that he bore his testimony to his sister Aline.
And she started crying. And all the doubts she had just left completely.
And sooooooooooo Aline and Luan were baptized on march 1st 2014 :)!!!!
It was very very very veryyyyy wonderful.
I loved it so much because I just know with ALL my heart that they will be strong forever. And Im really excited to hear in the future what happens and everything. Also we started teaching Robert (Aline's husband and Edeulsa the mom of aline-20yrs old and luan-24yrs old)
Itd be also really neat to see Luan serve a mission but we shall see :)
We learned a lot this week about perserving until the end. But everything was very good.  :) Because miracles are happening!
Also Sister Maia and I filmed us talking about our day (in english) and wow. It was rough, I had a really hard time talking. Which is interesting because I can write and think pretty fluently in english but its a struggle talking because portuguese will come first haha. So that will be really interesting on mothers day when we get to skype :)
Ive learned this week the importance of walking by faith and really doing everything we can to do what we feel prompted to do and the Lord will always bless us!
Oh another wonderful thing, I dont know if I already shared this. But we talked to Luan about the Sabbeth day because right now he has a break from work but its starting up again with a schedule to work on sundays. But he said he Would keep the sabbeth day holy, prayed about it and then determined to talk with his boss to tell him that he wouldnt work sundays.
And THEN his Boss called him to ask him to switch the day that he doesnt work and so he switched it to sundays :)!!!!!!!!!
Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very wonderful.
Also we prayed to know what young women could help us teach girls in our area that we are teaching and Then our zone leader came up to us asking us to visit a member who moved into our area!!! wahoo!! He said she was 16 so that was good, and THEn turns out she is actually 19 wahoo!!!!  And so she visited someone with us, nervous about visiting because she was actually less active but she said she wanted to be active which is easier in a new ward and so we had the lesson, and the investigator asked her to prayer and when she prayed she included in her prayer that she wants to be stronger in the church. It was just a really sweet experience because I felt like we were truly helping someone. And also we visited a member
Irma Rosemere and she and her visiting teaching companion Irma Wilma are trying to visit ALL the less actives, this was incredible to hear because it will help SO so much. So we will visit irma wilma and work together with her in this project and it will be amazing. It really is a blessing in our missionary work and will be for the ward. Really visiting teaching and home teaching are SO so sooooo sooooo important and such a blessing. People really just need a loving friend sometimes and spiritual boosts.
Well I love you all!!
And Im loving really the emails!!
Love your sister Kelsey C Kimball
