I love you all!! Also Happy Birthday to spencer (On June 1st) but still! :)

Well I have been having a really good week. Seriously things have been really good. We are having the highest numbers this week, and the people are doing really good.

I actually had quite a wonderful experience the other day. So we went to someones house on splits so I was with a ward member (Sister Fairbanks who has been really reallyyy helpful to us) and we went and shared a message with a family in which the mom is less active and none of the kids have been baptized so we are teaching the 12 year old, and the moms brother and his wife were there as they have been before. But this time they sat down to listen to the lesson we were sharing which is an amazing improvement!! ANDddd so we shared with her a scripture about baptism (the 12 yr old) and then I invited her to baptism, and before then the lady and her husband agreed to accept a book of mormon and said they wanted to go to church!! So anyways I invited the 12 yr old to be baptized andddddd she basically didn't really seem ready to respond. And then I felt a prompting that I shouolld invite Harley to be baptized and I pushed it off because Seriously it was the First time she even sat down with us and I was PRettyyyy sure that she would laugh and say no. But I Kept feeling the prompting so right when I was leaving I turned to her and I said "Harley I keep feeling that I should ask you, so would you be willing to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by someone holding the proper authority from God?" and she saiddddddd "yes! that would be great!" Booooom :)! What a blessing!!! And she is Now on a baptismal date, and she came to church with her husband and stayed all 3 hours. And I gave her a family proclamation to the world :)

So that is where that is at :)!

So, We have 3 people on baptismal dates!! I am telling you the work is progressing with the Lords help!!!

It is so wonderful, and our companionship is improving and growing stronger each day :)!

I guess because that is such a highlight there is not much other things to say, but really things are going well, we have transfers this next week end but we shall see! But we are using our faith and increasing our goals each time and going on splits and people are doing really well. We are now working on sending a reminder text to this one lady (who I love!) each day to help her read and pray and so hopefully it will help!

Also mom you are So in tune to the spirit. I ran (basically) out of stamps and I actually starting worrying about it a bit (which I shouldn't have worried really) but I was

and then I was thinking I would just stop writing to anyone else other than our family really

and THEN I received those stamps

and I thought oh I will save them trhoughout my mission for letters for my family

andd I saw the message from you and it really touched my heart, I mean it may seem like a simple thing but it really made me feel that my Heavenly Father was aware of the little things in my life and that you were all in tune to me.

and I just love you all SOOOO much!

So things have been going great here!

 

well so I am enjoying farmington new mexico there are so many people here and I just wish there were more ways to be more effective

also I'm thinking that I want to be here longer. But then I am also really excited for Brazil and I truly miss using portuguese more

I love teaching the Gospel, we went on exchanges with the sister coordinating/training leaders here and I loved that

because my sister training leader is awesome and made me feel loved. And its interesting because she would tell me that

the mission president IS aware of me and pleased with me and things like that and thats so nice of her to say but it made me think

of when we tell people that their heavenly Father loves them and is aware of them, and maybe sometimes they don't believe it.

And I just thought that people Really do need to hear that, and to know that its true. And sometimes even if people don't listen to our message

or believe the church is true it is still important to let them know how much their father in Heaven Truly loves them and is aware of them.

 

That is so exciting with Spencers tennis match!!! How awesome, he must be really practicing hard!! I love that tennis is going well for him and that he is enjoying that because that is so great. Also that is awesome that Dad and Spencer played those intense pro people haha, and I hope they play they again because that would be awesome.

So it seems like a lot of people in my district are having progressing visas (we can check our visa status) which I might do just because.

 

I am so excited for Abe and his mission call! And that you were all able to be there for the opening of it!

 

How is uncle Tom?? Is he doing better?

 

How are the braces coming along? Are they hurting less? Did Spencer get them? If so I need a picture!

 

I am glad that Laramies birthday party went well!

 

So I think Im going to send some pictures!! So this message will probably be shorter than usual but pictures are good too :)!

 

I love you all SO much and I am so grateful that you have all taught me so much so that I could be prepared for this and that you supported me in serving a mission because honestly it is such a blessing!
